Quick game show overview
Anyone attending DrupalCon Barcelona 2024(Opens in a new tab/window) can enter the game show event. However, you must register to participate in the event.
Four lucky contestants will then be drawn at random to go head-to-head in the game show.
The aim of the game show is to build a landing page using the CivicTheme design system in a 20-minute window on the day.
All contestants will be given instructions and access to a technical environment, preloaded with CivicTheme and all the assets needed to complete the task.
CivicTheme is intuitive and it’s easy to use the out-of-the-box components to create unique page layouts and add feature components with only Drupal administration access. No coding required!
Contestants will need to supply their own device on the day to access the game show Drupal environment.
On the game show day
At DrupalCon Barcelona 2024(Opens in a new tab/window), Salsa Digital(Opens in a new tab/window) will be hosting the DrupalCon's Got Talent: Barcelona, CivicTheme game show(Opens in a new tab/window)!
The session will run for about 40 minutes in total. Starting with an introduction for the live audience, the CivicTheme design lead will then lead you through a quick walk-through of the task.
After the briefing, contestants will get access to the event environments with CivicTheme and all the assets preloaded, plus instructions. Then they’ll have 20 minutes to create an engaging and creative webpage.
Our judges will then review the submissions and announce the winning webpage and runner ups.
